Barbell & Well 60 Strong

Welcome to 60 Strong, the ultimate Fall nutrition challenge designed to transform your body and mind! This isn’t just about sticking to a diet- it’s about building unshakeable discipline, cultivating strength from the inside out, and proving to yourself that you can conquer any challenge. 

Over the next 60 (to 75 days), you’ll push your limits, dial in your nutrition and embrace a lifestyle that sets the foundation for lifelong health. Whether you’re here to shed fat build muscle or simply level up your habits, 60 Strong will give you the tools and accountability to make it happen. 

Get ready to commit, because 60 Strong is about more than just following a plan- it’s about embracing the process, staying consistent, and pushing through every obstacle. This challenge is for those who are ready to take their nutrition and discipline to the next level. Let’s make these 60 days count and finish stronger than ever. 

60 Strong is loosely modeled after the 75 Hard Challenge- with adaptations made for sustainability and better long term maintenance and results. 

75 Hard requires six commitments you must complete every day for 75 days. If at any point you fail to meet the commitments, you start back over at Day 1. The Guidelines for 75 hard include…

  • Two 45-minute workouts. One must be outside.

  • Adhering to a diet. You can pick the diet, but you can't cheat.

  • Reading 10 pages of a self-help or educational book.

  • Drinking a gallon of water.

  • Taking a progress picture.

For 60 Strong, we will be following 6 guidelines as well, but there will NOT be a day 1 reset, just a repeat day. Meaning if on day 15 you do not adhere to the guidelines, you repeat day 15. The goal will be to complete all 60 days within a 75 day window- leaving room for flexibility when needed. 

For 60 Strong you must:

    • Bodyweight in grams of protein per day

    • 30+ grams of fiber per day

    • No added sugar

    • No alcohol

    • Keep a food journal

    • 1 CrossFit (or similar HIIT Style) Session  

    • 45 minutes of Zone 2 Heart Rate Training**

    • 60-75 Minutes of low impact training (yoga, pilates, easy swimming, walking, etc)

    • 1x per week Active Recovery (45 minutes dedicated to recovery tools such as stretching, foam rolling, yoga, normatec boots, physical therapy, etc)

    • Cold Plunge (time may be adjusted for this one :))

    • Sauna/Hot Tub

    • Meditation

    • Intentional Time Outdoors (Grounding/First Morning Light)

    • Breath Work

    • Scale 

    • Photos

    • Measurements
